Youth & Young Adults

TLC offers many different activities and program for our Youth and Young Adults. Many of our youth "graduate" to become leaders to train the next generation of youth. Youth

"TLC Youth Group is a Christ-centred, fun-loving group of young people who meet every week to grow in relationship with God and each other. Led by an enthusiastic and talented team of leaders, each Friday is different to the last and provides lots of opportunity for laughter, fun, conversations and community."

  • Friday Youth Group - meeting every week of school term from 7:00-9:00pm, for Year’s 7-12.

  • Every second Friday we have an event night, perfect to invite friends. The aim is fun & building relationships.

  • Every alternate Friday night we do a Bible study together.

  • During Term 3 and Term 4, we are delighted to invite Grade 6’s along to youth group in order to help them build relationships with older youth and help their transition to high school.

Young Adults

Young Adults is for young people aged 18-30(ish). We are from a variety and life stages and circumstances - some are students, some are working full-time, some are young families. We come together weekly in a variety of formats.

  • Most weeks after church we go out to lunch together or hang out for the afternoon.

  • We gather together every second week for Bible Study on Wednesday evenings at 7pm.

  • We love fun or relaxed opportunities to hang out such as picnics, walks and board games arvos.

We aim to empower and create opportunities for our young adults to engage in the church and wider community regularly. This includes working bees, visitation of those in need, volunteering in the various ministry teams in the church and participation in summer missions.
