It’s great to be part of the team here at TLC Church, walking alongside this community in a time of transition. Together we will facilitate this journey reviewing TLC’s history, learning from the past and deciding what needs to be carried into the future. Richard Rohr says “A good journey begins with knowing where we are and being willing to go someplace else.” The next stage will involve clarifying this community’s identity, mission and vision for the future.
This is an exciting adventure, so whether you are already part of this community, are looking to re-engage in a community or are looking for a church to be part of, we encourage you to connect at TLC. Philippa is passionate about encouraging people to create healthy rhythms in their lives, and to find wholeness, meaning and purpose. She enjoys walking in nature, cycling, movies and conversations.
Cliff loves walking alongside people, listening and encouraging them in their life's journey. He’s an avid fan of film, theatre and visual art and gets excited about exploring the connections between art and spirituality.

Serving has always been at the core of TLC’s DNA: serving those who make up our church community, the communities in which we live, and the global community. I have spent much of my working life in cross-cultural service and have a passion for understanding and reaching out to the diverse cultures and subcultures around us and the world.
One of the things I also enjoy about TLC is its strong connection with music and the arts as an expression of God’s creative work in the world. Following Jesus’ priority to serve people who are hurting, marginalised, suffering from injustice, or without necessities for a fulfilled life is also important to me and the TLC community.
We have a strong desire to be faithful to the calling of Jesus, the message of the Scriptures, and the work of God in our everyday lives to make a difference in ourselves and the world around us. If you are searching for spiritual meaning in your life or looking for a spiritual home; or if you need us to serve you or want to serve others, you are very welcome to just drop in or to join us.

The youth are the future of TLC and the wider church.
We are keen to walk alongside the next generation as they travel with Christ, as they are transformed and become more like him. Our mission is to see their faith grow deeper, their joy greater, and their love for others more passionate.

Foodbank operates Monday’s and Tuesday’s out of the TLC Office from 1-3pm. It provides a vital service to the surrounding community.
A hard-working member of our team who has been a TLC community member for a long time. She is the person who keeps the office ticking over behind the scenes.

Jeff Garrioch

A working life in the corporate sector in various management and consulting roles has given Jeff a broad base of skills that he brings to the not-for-profit world. He has served on various not-for-profit committees and boards over his long involvement with the sector.
He currently serves as the Chair of the Glen Park Community Centre, a committee of Governance member of the TLC Church and Secretary & Administrator of TLC Support Inc.
Russell has spent his entire working life in the Victorian Public Service, specifically working with honey bees and the honey bee industry and has contributed to Victorian and national working groups.
During his employment he gained experience in writing funding applications for a variety of projects. He is currently the grant application writer for TLC Support.

A long-term IT veteran who keeps our systems running smoothly.
Sarah has been keeping accounts for TLC for 10+ years now along with a dozen other charities and churches.
Sarah is passionate about good stewardship and social justice and also runs her own taxation practice.
